We are excited to offer three unique Artist in Residence opportunities across the Mid West, Gascoyne and Great Southern regions in 2024.

With the support of the WA State Government’s Regional Exhibition Touring Boost, ART ON THE MOVE offers residency opportunities for artists interested in working with local communities and collections.

We warmly invite all West Australian artists to submit an Expression of Interest. Regionally based artists and First Nations artists are strongly encouraged to apply.

Can I apply for more than one of the residencies?

Yes, you may submit an application to each residency location. However, if successful, you will only be selected for one program.

Please keep in mind that each residency is in response to the local stories and community. If you are considering multiple applications, please contact us to discuss your proposed project/s and suitability to each location.

This project has been made possible through the Regional Exhibition Touring Boost managed by the Department of Local Government Sport and Cultural Industries, supported by Royalties for Regions and delivered by ART ON THE MOVE and the Art Gallery of Western Australia.
