Aboriginal artists of the South-West: past and present was an important exhibition because it tracked the development of Indigenous art in the South-West from the time of the missions and forced settlements to the early 2000's. The 32 paintings were selected by South-West Nyungar artist Sandra Hill in collaboration with Dr John Stanton, curator of the Berndt Museum of Anthropology.
