Creations from the man cave
About this exhibition
Creations from the man cave encourages people to become interested in art and the use of recycling materials.
Neil Elliott’s prime objective when making art is to explore, have fun, and to promote the recycling message all at the same time. The artist teaches skills associated with recycling, up-cycling and repurposing to help people feel empowered to create their own art.
Finding inspiration from found objects Neil gives them a new lease on life – reimagining the everyday to reflect happiness and positive experiences. He also draws inspiration from history and engineering but his imagination is reflected in the fun and somewhat cheeky artworks presented in the exhibition.
Alongside the exhibition, Neil also engages audiences in workshops connected to the artworks, which are a proven way to bring communities together to have fun, be creative and have positive environmental results.
