The Australian Centre for Photography organised a major survey of the press photography by Mervyn Bishop. The exhibition consisted of 60 black and white prints from Mervyn's vast body of work as press photographer at the Department of Aboriginal Affairs, as well as unpublished work. The exhibition brought to light an important collection of documentary images of significant individuals, events and conditions.
