A major exhibition of enormous breadth, it brought together the work of Indigenous women from eight countries, spanning regions from Western Australia to Western Samoa. The exhibitions combined a variety of exquisite fibre works in fans, mats, bags and baskets, and a superbly woven eel trap; elegantly painted tapa cloth, delightful rag dolls, lengths of hand painted and screen printed silks and cottons; painted bush nuts, delicate shell and echidna quill jewellry, carved and decorated bowls and animals, ceramic forms and feather flowers.
