Listen, Look, Make: Two Free Events with Carly Le Cerf and Jean-Michel Maujean

Artists Carly Le Cerf and Jean-Michel Maujean are in residence with ART ON THE MOVE at North Metro TAFE School of Art & Design, and they’re opening up their collaborative practice — where painting meets sound to interpret and respond to the natural environment — through two free public events.

Found Colour / Found Sound Workshop Series

Sunday 27 September, 8am–12:30pm
Kaarta Koomba / Kings Park

Spend a morning tuning in to the landscape across two connected sessions:

Found Sound (8–10am) — Led by Jean-Michel, explore field recording techniques through a slow listening walk.

Found Colour (10:30am–12:30pm) — Led by Carly, shift your attention to the colours of the landscape through documentation and paint mixing, creating your own colour chart to take home.
